History Milestones

  • 1969 : Establishment of full-fledged school
  • 1972 : Passing out of the first CBSE 11th batch
  • 1973 : Second and third batches were combined and passed the Board examination
  • Present Director Hon. Dr. Girishrao S Bapat belongs to this batch
  • 1974 : Project Methodology introduced in the school curriculum
  • 1975 : Start of Girls school, Group Tasks became a part of the curriculum
  • 1976 : Permanent affiliation was granted by CBSE
  • 1977 : Structural change: 10+2 pattern was adopted
  • 1989 : Gun Vikas Yojana - a scheme for skills enhancement was introduced in curriculum of
  • 7th standard, Multi-text teaching was introduced
  • 1990 : Abhivyakti Vikas Yojana- a program for development of aptitude in Arts and Crafts was introduced

Members

2520 students passed out from the school during the period 1969 to 2018. The number of students studying in the school have been around 450 to 480 since 1984. Each class consists of 40 students. There are two divisions of each class – 1 is of boys and other is of girls. There are total 12 classes. The full-time teaching staff is 22 and the part-time and hourly basis teaching staff is around 40. The total staff of about 80 members consists of the teaching staff, office staff, library staff and others.

  • 1991 : Self study skills became integral part of the curriculum
  • 1994 : Projects based on Futurology were introduced
  • 2007 : Agrani Yojana - A project for leadership development became a regular and systematic feature of the curriculum
  • 2010 : Multiple levels were inroduced in 5th to 8th Stds., for mastery learning in English & Mathematics
  • 2012 : Fully computerised school administration
