Admission Process / प्रवेश प्रक्रिया
Jnana Prabodhini Prashala is a secondary school (Std. 5th to Std. 10th) affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The admission procedure for the 5th standard generally starts in the month of February. Admissions are given only through an entrance examination. Admissions in standard 6th to 10th are given if seats are vacant and only through an entrance examination.
ज्ञान प्रबोधिनी प्रशाला ही केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षण मंडळाशी संलग्न माध्यमिक (इ. ५वी ते इ. १०वी) शाळा आहे. इयत्ता ५वीची प्रवेश प्रक्रिया साधारणत: फेब्रुवारी महिन्यामध्ये सुरू होते. प्रवेश-चाचणी घेऊन प्रवेश दिला जातो. जागा उपलब्ध असल्यास इयत्ता ६वी ते १०वीसाठीदेखील प्रवेश चाचणी घेऊनच प्रवेश दिला जातो.
Admission process for 5th standard
Admission forms can be filled on the website anytime when vacancy is available. (Validity: Current academic year). The first round of the entrance examination is generally held on any Sunday of February. The exact dates are released in the first week of February.
Important Note
For Academic Year 2026-27:
According to the government resolution dated
21st January 2015 & 23rd January 2015 regarding
"The minimum age of Admission in school", the
minimum age required for admission in 5th Standard
is 10 years on 31st December 2026.
Date range for admission in 5th standard for the
academic year 2026-27 is from
31 July 2015 to 15th January 2017.
Please note that you are not permitted to appear for the entrance examination more than once in the same academic year. In addition, any discrepancy or deviation from the provided information in the application may result in the cancellation of admission by the school without prior notice.

इयत्ता ५वी साठी प्रवेश प्रक्रिया
प्रवेशअर्ज प्रशालेच्या संकेतस्थळावर अथवा प्रशाला कार्यालयातून परीक्षेची तारीख जाहीर झाल्यानंतर मिळू शकतात (वैधता: चालू शैक्षणिक वर्ष). प्रवेश चाचणीची पहिली फेरी साधारणतः फेब्रुवारी महिन्यातील एका रविवारी होते. चाचणीच्या अंतिम तारखा या फेब्रुवारी महिन्याच्या पहिल्या आठवड्यामध्ये जाहीर केल्या जातात.

शैक्षणिक वर्ष २०२६-२७:
२१ जानेवारी २०१५ आणि २३ जानेवारी २०१५ च्या
'शाळेतील प्रवेशाचे किमान वय' यासंबंधीच्या शासन
निर्णयानुसार ३१ डिसेंबर २०२६ रोजी ५वी इयत्तेत
प्रवेश घेण्यासाठी आवश्यक असलेले किमान वय
१० वर्षे आहे.
शैक्षणिक वर्ष २०२६-२७ साठी पाचवीत प्रवेश घेण्यासाठी
अर्जदाराचा जन्मदिनांक
३१ जुलै २०१५ नंतरचा व
१५ जानेवारी २०१७ पूर्वीचा
असावा व अर्जदार इ. ४थीमध्ये शिकणारा असावा.
कृपया लक्षात घ्या की एका शैक्षणिक वर्षात एकाहून अधिक वेळा प्रवेश परीक्षेला बसण्याची परवानगी नाही. तसेच अर्जात दिलेल्या माहितीत कोणतीही तफावत किंवा फसवणूक आढळल्यास, कोणतीही पूर्वसूचना न देता आपला प्रवेश रद्द करण्याचा पूर्ण अधिकार शाळेला राहील.

Admission process for 6th to 10th standard
Admissions in standard 6th to 10th are given only if seats are vacant and only through an entrance examination. Admission forms can be filled on the website anytime whenever vacancy is available. (Validity: Current academic year). The entrance examination is generally held on the second Sunday of May.
Important Note
The vacancies for current academic year will be declared in the first week of May of that academic year.

इयत्ता ६वी ते १०वी साठी प्रवेश प्रक्रिया
जागा उपलब्ध असल्यास इयत्ता ६वी ते १०वीसाठीदेखील प्रवेश चाचणी घेऊनच प्रवेश दिला जातो. प्रवेशअर्ज प्रशालेच्या संकेतस्थळावर वर्षभरात केव्हाही भरता येतील (वैधता: चालू शैक्षणिक वर्ष) अथवा प्रशाला कार्यालयामध्ये परीक्षेची तारीख जाहीर झाल्यानंतर उपलब्ध होतील. प्रवेश परीक्षा साधारणत: मे महिन्याच्या दुसऱ्या रविवारी घेतली जाते.
महत्त्वाची टीप
'चालू शैक्षणिक वर्षातील रिक्त जागांसाठी प्रवेशप्रक्रिया त्या-त्या वर्षीच्या मे महिन्याच्या पहिल्या आठवड्यात सुरू होते.'

Selection Process has 3 Steps

| 1 | Form Submission | The admission process starts normally in the month of February. Application forms can be collected from the school office or are also made available on the website. Forms can be filled online and form fees can also be paid online. |
| 2 | Entrance Exam | The test consists of a battery of psychological tests. The test lasts for 3 hours. All tests being psychological tests, there is no need for any preparation. The test administrator gives instructions before starting the test. The child should appear for the test in a tension-free state of mind. |
| 3 | Result | On the basis of performance in the test, the final list of selected candidates is declared. |

| २ | प्रवेश परीक्षा | प्रवेश परीक्षा ही मानसशास्त्रीय चाचणी असते. ही चाचणी साधारणत: ३ तास चालते. या मानसशास्त्रीय चाचण्या असल्याने त्यासाठी कोणत्याही पूर्वतयारीची गरज नसते. चाचणी सुरू होण्यापूर्वी परीक्षक योग्य त्या सूचना देतात. आपला पाल्य ताणरहित व मोकळ्या मनाने परीक्षेस उपस्थित असेल याची काळजी घ्यावी. |

| २ | परीक्षेचे माध्यम व सत्र | विद्यार्थ्यांना मराठी वा इंग्रजी माध्यमातून परीक्षा देता येईल. पालकांनी काळजीपूर्वक माध्यम निवडावे. परीक्षेची प्रश्नपत्रिका निवडलेल्या भाषेतूनच दिली जाते. परीक्षेचे स्थळ, दिनांक, वार, वेळ, माध्यम व सत्र (सकाळसत्र – १, दुपारसत्र – २) आणि गट क्रमांक (मराठी – १, इंग्रजी – २) हे प्रवेशपत्रावर छापलेले असतात. ते काळजीपूर्वक तपासावे. |
