" How will the student become self-motivated to develop his own personality, so that a fully developed creative mind can work for social development?
The students find an area to learn overcoming challenges, where it becomes their life-mission to set new standards of excellence. Motivated in this way, they get a sense of self-growth by their contributions to their chosen areas, leading to the resurgence of our nation to higher levels of human existence. We have to remember that the gifts of Indian students will be fully manifested when they are used to fill the gaps and holes in the national life of India and to raise the country to a higher level of consciousness.
Responsiveness, Responsibility, Cooperativeness, Creativity and Regenerative self are all attributes of an individual living in a society. These attributes cannot be found in a lonely individual. Development of these attributes indicates an individual's increasing integration with the family, community, society and humanity. The five attributes indicate how humanized a human being has become, and the extent to which he has unveiled the potential perfection or divinity in him. This goal of education is of Indian origin. "
- Dr. Girish S. Bapat (Man-Making: Nurturing Abilities, Motivating the Able)
Since its inception, the school has been experimenting with teaching and learning practices, developing a comprehensive curriculum, and creating a conducive environment for the holistic development of its students.
The students are made to realise in different ways that their ‘gifts’ (abilities) are nature-given and not their own achievements or possessions. The institute firmly believes that any society needs individuals with strong, independent, and well-formed personalities and high moral character who can lead the society towards betterment by creating and implementing novel solutions to the prevalent issues of a wide variety.
Thus, three primary objectives of the school are:
1) Development of all aspects of personality (physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual)
2) Development of leadership competencies and social concern in all students.
3) Fostering creative problem-solving skills through structured exposure and guided practice.
